Andrew Osburn (Technical Service Manager, FMC) obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology in 2014 from Miami University. He pursued his Master’s degree at The Ohio State University where he worked on characterizing the impact herbicide application had on the weed species diversity along railroad rights-of-way. He graduated in 2019 and then moved to Texas A&M University to work on his Ph.D. in turfgrass weed science, graduating in December 2023.  He focused on the biology, ecology, and herbicide resistance dynamics of annual bluegrass in managed turfgrass systems as part of the ResistPoa project.
