Ben is a seasoned research and development leader with more than 25 years of experience across multiple specialty business segments. Prior to his current role as Product Development Associate Director at FMC, Ben has held Technical positions within TruGreen including Research Scientist & Project leader, region technical manager positions, and Director of Technical Operations. 

Ben is known throughout the industry as a technical expert, customer advocate, and insightful business leader.  He holds a Ph.D. in Crop & Soil Sciences from Michigan State University and an Executive MBA from the Jack Welch Management Institute.

Bob earned a B.S in Chemistry from Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science (now Jefferson University), an M.S. in Pharmaceutics from Temple University and pursued a Ph.D. from University of the Sciences in Pharmaceutical Sciences.

Since joining FMC in 2010, Bob has been involved in Formulations and Product Development, first in market innovation group for Latin America North and Global Specialty Solutions (GSS), then in North America Crop, and now focused on product development for GSS. Responsibilities include product development, product support, and interfacing with manufacturing plants, bot FMC and tolling groups.
